H.M. Bailey Primary School Home

It is a privilege and an honor to serve as principal of Hazel M. Bailey. The Firebaugh Community is one centered around family and friends.  It is a joy to work so closely with such a warm and welcoming community.

Hazel M. Bailey is the home of the Bailey Bears, our grade levels range from Transitional Kindergarten to 2nd grade.  Our focus on Early Literacy is the cornerstone in all we do. Our teachers work tirelessly toward our mission that every child will learn to read, write, and reach their maximum potential through the practice of a growth mindset. It is so rewarding to watch our students grow and explore their newly discovered academic achievements. Watching a child learn to read is one of the most rewarding gifts in early education. 

 I am so proud of our entire team at Bailey and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parents, students, staff and community members who work diligently everyday to make sure Bailey is a school of excellence! 

 At Bailey we instill a sense of pride in all our little Bailey Bears. It is not only about academics, but also about building character, character that will last a lifetime. Respect, responsibility, being safe, and always doing our best … that is The Bailey Way!
